  3. To gain the interest and complete attention of our students, we must develop their communication progress and therefore increase their speaking and listening skills. The best way to obtain exceptional results of the class is by using the appropriate materials that are specially created and directed to their age and development. Creating the perfect environment followed by the right tools, the children are going to be able to share not only their thoughts but also the contents that they have been learning.
Sometimes our students surprise us during their interaction with other kids of their class and age. Is astonishing when, without noticing, our children demonstrate the new knowledge in real life situations; for example, if we tend to read them stories they will remember parts of those and can create or imitate the same scenario including the vocabulary and language that was on the book or even act like one of the characters of it when playing with the classmates. When we see our kids doing something we taught them, but spontaneously, we feel like our job is having a significant value in what they are actually learning. Our duty is to show them the pattern they could follow, how to carry out an activity, we set the directions and they follow them in their own way; but in order to do it well we must be clear and use terms adequate for them.
We can rely on a vast amount of styles and materials to awake their curiosity and learning desire. We just have to use our creativity and switch roles; for example if we are teaching different types of surfaces, we have to imagine how we would like to be presented to us, maybe by creating a chart with most of the textures they are used to perceive.
Once again the Planning plays a highly important function in the development of the group. It should go according to the age (of course) and need we have previously notice. We might want to finish a particular Unit in a specific period of time, but if our group of children haven´t internalize the concepts it is impossible to continue with another topic. Another meta-cognitive aspect is the evaluation; we cannot base the entire development of a child only on the test results obtained on one day. On the contrary, this is a process that takes in consideration the progress of the child given day by day in different circumstances, contents, emotional situation (as self and as a group), etc. if we pay attention to the results of the evaluations we can come up with a planning in which we make use of all the available and correct materials allowing us to increase the motivation of our students in understanding and interacting not only in their native language but in English too.
